Illaire (a 17-year-old "kaf") and Hellen (a 15-year-old "yab") are two worlds apart: for him, the housing estate, the shouting, the neighbours, the "dalon", the "kaniar", the motorbikes, the youth workers; for her, nature, TV, home, the unspoken, family, simplicity… Each drags a "teen bag" that is far too heavy for them. On the estate, surrounded by his pack of "dalon", Illaire cultivates the art of banter, always one quip sharper than the last, speaking louder than the constant hum around them. Illaire and Hellen are about to enter a whirl of feelings they are not at all equipped for. This emotional cyclone will run its course and leave them in an abyss of unanswered questions.
Shot in Reunion island on RED Scarlet with Cooke S4 mini.
