Recently bereaved, Éléonore visits a cemetery to place a book on her husband’s grave. In this setting frozen by winter, she meets Charlie—a joyful, whimsical, and vibrant woman who seems to exist outside of time. Through their conversation, which is at once lighthearted and profound, Éléonore finds herself gradually unsettled, then deeply moved. Yet, as the words flow, a disturbing truth begins to surface...
What if Charlie isn’t entirely alive?
